One has to think now the Hargrove's suspension has been lifted.. we might be inclined to take another run at him.

The thing I don't get, is we knew Raji needed less reps this season. We also knew Pickett was super valuable, and not getting any younger. As this season has worn on, we've kept some players out to save reps on their bodies till late season/playoffs to keep them fresh. I just do not get how we are overlooking Pick and Raji with regards to this.

Raji has the highest snap count of the Dline at 508 of a total of 860 snaps for the defense or about 59%. Pickett is 2nd with 464 snaps 53.9%, followed by Worthy at 410, 47.6% though Worthy has also been on 110 special teams snaps.

The money was not the factor. Zero has mentioned many times that GB offered Jenkins more than what he took with Phil.
He had his prided hurt because GB didn't pony up more and quicker than what they did so he went on to Phil and what was suppose to be this great dream team.

Jenkins was coming off a year in which he had only played 11 games. In fact, he had played in only 31 games in the last 3 years. There is no way to know that he would be able to play the full schedule in the future as he has done the past 2 years.

My understanding on Hargrove is that his suspension time served only counted off if he was on an active roster. It was lifted during the appeal but I think teams might have been leery of signing him then having to deal with the suspension that could have been reinstated at any time.

As for linemen... I think we need more (and better) pass rushers... both on the DL and OLB.
OL needs more depth everywhere though we might be developing some of it if they would just get healthy and stay healthy...

He spent the first 15 games of the 2011 season on Chicago's practice squad before being signed to the Bears' active roster for the season finale (inactive). Miller was with the Bears during the 2012 preseason until he was released on Aug. 31, 2012. He originally entered the league with Chicago as a non-drafted free agent on July 27, 2011. Miller will wear No. 91 for the Packers."

Good to have some help on the DL.

Here are his stats at Southern:

Jordan Miller - 2010 Senior - Nose Tackle for Southern University

2010 STATS
32 tackles
7 sacks
15 Tackle for Loss
5 QB Hurries

CAREER STATS (2008-2010)
90 tackles
15.5 sacks
27.5 Tackles for Loss
10 Hurries

These are pretty good for playing NT, which was his position at Southern. Hopefully he will be able to give us some production in the rotation. I bet this former Bear will be motivated to make an impact here Sunday, playing his old team.
