If Lang gets moved back to G and Sherrod to T it will be because Lang or EDS weren't hacking it. Obviously EDS is a better G than Sherrod is I don't think we need to rely on some non move to tell us that. That's why Sherrod is a tackle.

Even if Sherrod comes back recovered and looks good in practice the coaches aren't going to bench a player if they are playing well (especially with the o-line where familiarity/continuity is key).

If they were both 100% healthy that assumption might be right. But even if Sherrod gets back on the field will he be 100%?

Also Mike McCarthy likes to keep things consistent so if Lang and Newhouse are doing good enough jobs Mike McCarthy might now switch them up even if Sherrod is playing slightly better than someone on the OL.

And Sherrod still hasn't had a healthy off-season nor OTA because they didn't have OTAs his rookie year. So I wouldn't be surprised if Mike McCarthy stays with a consistent vet OL and not add Sherrod in unless Sherrod is healthy and someone is struggling at OT.
