I've been thinking about our injuries at WR, and noticed Gurley was signed to SD's PS last week. Maybe we should raid that sucker and bring him back just for insurance purposes. Jennings coming back is no sure thing. What if Jordy's hammy flares? I know I would feel a lot better having that kid back in the Green & Gold. What do you guys think?

Who is there to drop?

Now if one of the wr's goes on IR, Gurley would probably be the best option to be able to step in.

Also which player would you suggest cutting to put Gurley on the 53 man roster?

Only way we're getting another WR is if any of the other 4 get hurt.. We didn't keep 6 WRs and 4 TEs for nothin'.

You can look at it the other way, Gurley has shown promise and teams have signed him knowing if needed he would be able to help out.

I believe Tori Gurley will get his chance with an NFL team, and hope he makes the best of it.

Right now The Packers just don't have room for him, maybe if he is released from SD Ted might bring him back.

good idea but with none of the WR on the IR they don't need him. even if they do sign him he would most likely be on the bottom of the depth chart and they wouldn't have him on the field much.

Its fishy to me that the guy was cut from 4 teams in a very short period of time. I think with the WR the Packers have, they should be able to use the "next man up". With a quarterback like Rodgers, he can make any receiver we have on our roster look better than they truly are. When I say that, I am referring to bottom players such as Boykin or any other WR that we would take up from the PS.

Mucky Tundra (9-Aug) : THE GREEN BAY PACKERS ARE PLAYING FOOTBALL TONIGHT!!!!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!!
Zero2Cool (9-Aug) : Woo-hoo
TheKanataThrilla (9-Aug) : NFL Network is broadcasting the game tonight, but not in Canada. Not sure why as no local television is showing the game.
beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Zero- Did you see what I posted about Voice of Reason and his wife? She posted over at fleaflicker that they are both "In"
