shorter field is good. we should compare the returners and hold them accountable. I am all for it. Don't want to compare them to a RB or WR. (I don't even want to compare a QB to a WR. They are different.)

punt returns need to be more than 10 yards before they are considered plus yards. There are 8 players including Cobb that are averaging 11 or more per return.

As for KO, the return men are starting deeper in the endzone. (around 5-7 yards) so it is easy for the return numbers to be inflated a bit. (28 players have averages of more than 20 yards per return.) If they catch the ball at the -5 and return it 25 yards they are only back to the 20. I agree that it doesn't matter how far they return it they need to get the ball over the 20, maybe the 25 to be considered a better than average return.
