I don't know that a 3rd string CB is trying mostly to just not get beat over the top. He may want to make a statement and cover well or even go for an interception. Maybe even Boykin made a hell of a move. Those are other possibilities besides yours. The point remains I, and I believe you also, would like to see what he could do against the 1's.

Otis Merrill and Nic Cooper have a shot. Otherwise I'd PS them.

The guy trying to covering Boykins in the Browns game when he made those two big plays close to back to back was playing very loose coverage and was going back-wards mostly even when he cut inward... that's a CB that's playing scared and playing to not get burned.

That being said he played against a different CB in the Chargers game... but yes I'd like to see him go against a better CB. Doesn't have to be 1st string but someone that I think would make a roster at the end of training camp.

And don't get me wrong Boykins is a very good route runner. Which is why he's schooling the CBs that aren't good against crisp routes. But I want to see more overall raw potential from him to grow into.

Dezman Moses makes the team.
Boykin has an outside chance.
Tyler is on the PS.

Moses is now a lock IMO.. kid just plays well.

After that.. hard saying.

I thought it interesting the Levine was playing first with the ones last night.. then let almost everyone thereafter rotate in.

OLB Moses makes the 53 man roster.

S Richardson, RB Tyler, FB Cooper, WR Boykins, WR Moss and maybe one of the OL and CB get a look at the practice squad. Probably wouldn't keep a FB but I liked FB Cooper run and he was a RB in college... I wouldn't mind making him a FB/RB on the practice squad.

I think Moses makes it as well.
This kid looks like he could be an up and comer.

LB Dezman Moses and WR Jarrett Boykin are my choices to make the final 53.
