The other day my dog ran upstairs and ate about half a roast, which was left on the counter. She also tears up toilet paper and drags my boxers out of the dirty hamper. Of course, she's an angel when I'm around, but if I leave her alone, I have to make sure she's confined to a certain area. Otherwise, she believes anything is fair game. One time she even tried to eat the case that keeps a video game or DVD. She gave it a good effort but failed. Oh, and the game played just fine.

My kids.. my parents.. they all get on me for not having a dog.

Reading the trials here just solidifies my stance.. I have enough headaches with 3 kids.. 2 jobs.. house, cabin, 3 vehicles and various toys and items that require maintenance.. why add another in a dog?

And no freaking way on a cat. 😉

The food is not being left out. All is well or so I thought. There was a half a loaf of bread, hot dog buns actually, that we use to give him his pills. A small piece of bread, a little peanut butter and stick the pill inside.

The buns were sitting in the middle of the table. He got up there and pulled it to the edge of the table and then ate the 3 or 4 buns that were there and left the wrapper on the table.

There were his after all. Never the less out into the garage he went.
