Harrell was running for his life, for the most part. And yet his passer rating was better than Flynn's preseason passer rating either of the last two years, iirc.

I think Harrell will be fine. If the worst case scenario happened (lord forbid) I wouldn't be throwing in the towel.

And I like Coleman's attitude. He's not intimidated out there. He was getting it done in the 2 minute drill until Tyler's fumble. Dude's a baller.

Go back to last preseason and pop in tape of Flynn running the offense in the preseason.

Every QB injury isn't season ending. It's entirely possible that Aaron Rodgers could go down for a couple weeks. That's when it's most important to have a quality back up. Not to compete for a championship but to be able to cover a few games if necessary and keep you in the race. That's why I don't understand the "If Rodgers goes down season is over" line. If Rodgers goes down for 3 weeks and an ok back up wins 1 game where a bad back up goes 0-3 that could determine whether you eventually even get into the playoffs or not.

I think we might still have a shot at the SB if Rodgers went down for the season. I actually think Coleman might be the man by the second half of season.

Saying that I think Coleman will end up on the PS at the beginning of the year, he can be put there but still protected, hopefully he realizes the situation he is in and realizes at this point in his career there is no better place to learn.

Coleman reminds me a bit of Favre. Hopefully he'll be more disciplined and coachable.

Harrell reminds me of Jeff Garcia. Mobile, not the strongest arm, but smart and a master of the WCO.

We haven't been WCO since 2007 though and frankly, I'm not sure if there's a single team who still runs that antiquated system. Maybe Seattle.
