This really sucks. It made absolutely no sense to me why he was out there. Why not put Tramon Williams on the 3-4th string punt coverage team while they're at it. Maybe even Woodson and Mathews. This was really a coaching fail. Late in the first preseason game, there was absolutely no reason the Packer's third, at worst, and most likely second best CB should have been a gunner. Was there ever an explanation of this? Not that I would buy into it anyway. He shouldn't have been out there at that point, and that's not hindsight.

The worst thing we could do right now with House is rush him back out of necessity. Just play Shields and pray he learned how to tackle a little bit in the off season. When Bush is on the field, I know big plays are about to happen; but since he picked Roethlisberger in the Super Bowl, he forever sheds the red headed step child stigma in my book.

How dare they want to see what their rookie can do

I don't know the punt return gunner part, but Davon House absolutely should have been on the field covering WR's because he needs the experience. You don't get better by sitting on the bench. Regardless, House has been over hyped. This wasn't Tramon Williams people, relax.

Not a durable guy it sounds like. Shame. Football is a tough game. Hope he can work his way back into the starting line up eventually. For now I suppose Haywood has to step up while Shields deals with his elbow injury.

The saving grace of this defense is going to be the pass rush. If we Worthy and Perry can't add to it, we're going to be sucking ass.

I suppose the new practice rules may put more value on preseason games, but most of the film they look at is from padded practices. That's where the meat of talent evaluation is. By all measures, House is currently ahead of Bush, Heyward, and Shields. The decision to line him up as a gunner in the second half of an exhibition game was an error. Somebody screwed up. With that said, this creates an opportunity for Shields, Heyward, and Bush. One of them (if not two) needs to seize on this.

dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care

Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Cowboys 1st round pick Tyler Booker will indeed be bringing his pet turtle to Dallas with him
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : that contained all prospects info and contact
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : beast, according the Falcons statement Jax came across it on an ipad. If I had to guess, probably an open spread sheet or something
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Simmons put up an emoji with cheese.
beast (27-Apr) : Not sure anyone is interested in Isaiah Simmons... Collin Oliver might of taken his potential slot
beast (27-Apr) : I'm going with Jax Ulbrich is not telling the whole truth... he accidentally came across it? Why would a defensive coordinator have a QB #?
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : He's not that great, but final piece of the script.\
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : If we add Isaiah Simmons, book your Super Bowl tickets
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Colts 1st round TE Tyler Warren also got prank called, was that Jax Ulbrich as well?
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Jax Ulbrich, Jeff Ulbrich’s son, released an apology for his role in the Shedeur Sanders prank call.
Martha Careful (27-Apr) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
