I think his number will be retired, no question about it. I wonder if it will be during Mike McCarthy's tenure as head coach is the sticking point for me, or even the more assumed individual, Ted Thompson. If they were both out, he'd probably come to town tomorrow and retire his number.

I'd like to see the Packers reach out to Brett Favre in regards to retiring the number. Both sides screwed up, but the Packers are like the 'dad' in the relationship ... they are expected to take the higher road. I kind of wonder if fans will boo him though, actually, its a worry, not a wonder. I think booing him would be terribly unappreciative.

actually I doubt very many, if any, will boo during a retirement ceremony. He [aid his dues he finally retired and more importantly he did not lead the hated vikings to their own Lombardi Trophy. If he ha there would be some (many) who would never forgive him.

I think some fans are still butthurt he played for the Vikings. I think most are fine with the forcing a trade, playing with the Jets ... but the part that I feel Packers fans have stuck in their butt is playing for the Vikings. I think sweeping the Vikings in 2010 and winning the Super Bowl diluted that hate quite a bit.

Personally, I'd cheer for him at his number retirement ceremony. I think it was a douche move to go to the Vikings, but then again, how many teams were only a QB away from being legit Super Bowl contenders? One, it just happened to be the Vikings.

If he came to town TOMORROW there would not be 70000 fans there to witness the ceremony.

I don't understand how that was missed.

We can't retire his number yet.

My dad heard from a friend who heard from someone on the radio who heard from a pretty credible source that Favre will be on da Bears in 2012.

beast (20h) : Well Jenkins probably knows he's not getting that 2026 salary number without a new contact... so just trying to get the new contact early
Zero2Cool (13-May) : CB Rasul Douglas is visiting the #Seahawks today, per source.

dfosterf (12-May) : *Elgersma*
dfosterf (12-May) : Today would be a good day to discover the Pack signed Taylor Engersma, the Canadian QB
Zero2Cool (11-May) : It wasn't. He simply wanted his money back. They refused. Cops came. They gave him his money in end.
dfosterf (11-May) : Fortunately it doesn't sound like a big deal
Zero2Cool (10-May) : Elgton Jenkins Involved In Strip Club Dispute ... Cops Called To Mitigate

Zero2Cool (8-May) : Collin Whitchurch @cowhitchurch · 1h Chicago got a pope before it got a QB to throw for 4,000 yards in a season.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : New Pope from Chicago; in other words, the city produced a Pope before a 4000 yard passer
