Yes I did.. but right behind my loathing of Quarterbacks is offensive lineman... lol... holding bastards anyway.

But at least they had to battle it out and rarely got any special treatment that the glory boys got. ;)

Punters and Kickers knew their role upon the team.. and even they didn't have to don those pretty red jerseys.. lol.

Once made SI's cover as the dirtiest player in pro football. "I see defensive linemen jump to knock a pass down," he said after he retired. "When that happened near me, I'd smack 'em in the solar plexus, and that got their hands down real quick. It's as if nobody wants to see anybody else get injured." Dobler didn't care who got hurt. He punched Mean Joe Greene, he kicked Merlin Olsen in the head, he bit, he gouged, and once, he spit on a downed and injured opponent, the Eagles' Bill Bradley.

In camps I pretty did much of the same.. however focused at DE and OLB.

I was a better defensive player and offensive player.. but I spent a ton of time studying the habits of offensive lineman. Footwork.. jabs, hand placement verses the leverage you could generate against their traits.

WPR - Nope. Never heard of him.

I'm talking about real life. The guys I knew who played OL in college were always good people. I had a boss once also who was a C. Good guy, always stuck up for us against upper management. A former OT who played against some guys who made the NFL recently tried to get me to move to his company (would have loved to, but it would mean relocating). Would love to work for him.

Pack - OK. You probably told me this before. Just forgot.

Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : Too bad camera's can't spot the ball as well.
Mucky Tundra (1-Apr) : So will the chain gang be gone completely or will they still be around as a backup or whatever?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : A big step in the right direction. Just put in the college system is very very good.

Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : Touchbacks on kickoffs will now bring the ball to the 35-yard line.

Martha Careful (30-Mar) : Is men braiding their hair a new style thing? Watching the NCAA men's tournament many players have done
Zero2Cool (29-Mar) : Ha. Well, it'd be nice for folks to reset their own password. Via validated email 😏
