What I am trying to say about the system qbs and was really meant to be toward the wrs. We do not run a west coast offense anymore. We run more of a run and shoot offense like the Oilers did years ago, or like a texas tech or hawaii type offense when you pass the ball 85% of the time. When you do this the stats will be up for the receiving corp which in turn gives the false indication that all the wrs are stars.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Thanks to our "system" we don't need that, and I think having someone like that puts too much emphasis on one player James Jon anyway. Yes, a guy likees isn't a "star." He is, however, a great match up against 4th string corner backs.

The talent of the Packer's wide receivers plus tight end (s) (not to mention the guy throwing them the ball) is what makes the receiving group as a whole "stars," not the individual players. I don't expect that to change anytime soon, either.

593 Pass Attempts, including 41 sacks.
395 Rushing Attempts.

988 Total Snaps of Offense which puts the pass/rush ratio more like 60% to 40%.

Side Note: Packers opponents passed the ball 637 attempts (plus 29 sacks) and ran the ball 383 times.

“I’ve always said I want to retire as a Packer, I think the organization knows that, so we’re going to come together. We’re going to make a decision. One, two more years, and then I’ll put my cleats on the shelf and sit back in Dallas and relax. It’s family.”

It is like when the Packers had Sterling Sharpe. They got better when he left because the ball was spread around to more receivers.

A lot of his ability comes from his gigantic size and his knowledge of how to use his size to his advantage against much smaller defensive backs. He's also pretty damn fast. They don't make many like him.

In a post on his Twitter account Tuesday night, Driver said, "When I said I will be a Packer for life. It is now true. Packer for life."

When I got in my car today, on the radio they were talking about Donald Driver and the Packers have agreed on a restructure of his contract that will be signed later today. They also reported Donald Driver will participate in OTA's today at the Hutson Center.

Zero2Cool (7h) : Aaron Rodgers hopes to sign with the Vikings, per Mike Silver.
Zero2Cool (8h) : You're not gonna go for what your board says? Just straight up positions?

Zero2Cool (14-Mar) : $45m over three years. Yikes.
dfosterf (14-Mar) : Seahawks sign Cooper Kupp
