Neal: suspension was a technicality

Neal told Paul Imig of Fox Sports Wisconsin that he was suspended because of a technicality in the rules, not because he took steroids or human growth hormone. Neal claims he took medicine prescribed by a doctor and didn’t realize that, under the rules of the policy, he had to turn details of the prescription to the Packers.

damn... I was going to post that the minute his suspension is up, he needs to be healthy and kicking ass like the freak-athlete he is....

then I remembered this is his THIRD season... and that he probably won't make it passed TC.

The 4 game suspension is because of a 2nd offense of the substance abuse policy, correct?

Why the heck did I think the first offense went unpunished or held some other kind of non publicly known punishment?

Either way, Bills should send Mario Williams to the Packers for Mike Neal. It just makes sense.

Perhaps this incident with him actually staying somewhat healthy throughout the end of last season will be a really good thing for Neal. I hope he is as healthy and physically prepared as he's ever been during his four game suspension. Perhaps not being able to participate in the game in a way that isn't injury related will help get him on the 'right course'. I'm not expecting much from the guy, but if he can come off the bench for a handful of plays a game and generate some kind of push, he would make for some decent depth.
