Without absolutely remarkable catches, he'd be 0-2 in Super Bowls; so I don't think he is better than either Brady or Payton. But it is pretty funny that Forrest Gump bested Tom Terrific twice.

Brady and Peyton Manning are first round Hall of Famers. Eli will probably make it even though he doesn't deserve it just like Ben R will probably make it even though he doesn't deserve it because QBs get credit for wins and everyone makes excuses for their losses.

Now I see why Pack93z hates QBs so much.

(For the record, Brady and Peyton Manning fully deserve to be first round Hall of Famers though).

Using superbowl wins as the guage by that logic would that mean that Tedy Bruschi is a better LB than Lawrence Taylor?

I don't think he can be in that discussion yet... But if he continues to play as clutch as he seems to be, you almost HAVE to include him in the discussion. I'd say one SB win could be considered a fluke, but two with potential for more? You can't ignore that. I didn't watch this years big game, so I can't comment on his play then, but the way he played in his first SB win was really, REALLY impressive to me. It certainly looks like he knows when to step up his game.

If I'm in the playoffs and can choose between Tom Brady, Eli Manning and Peyton Manning. Absolutely, I'm taking Eli Manning. Dude is cold, ice cold in the playoffs.

I am going to disagree.

Eli is an average QB that got lucky. His D carried him and he did just enough to win.

His career rating is barely above the NFL average. He has had 2 moderately above average years, 2 about average and 4 below average.

QBs get credit for the team winning when it should be for how they play.

The D stepping up and holding Brady out of the endzone after Eli's TDs have as much or more to do with the win than one throw.

The magical throws would have been meaningless if the Giants D line had not beaten Brady into submission.

What is more impressive, taking out Brady or beating the Patriots horrible secondary?

Eli is not in the top 5. He isn't even in the top 10. I would be stretching to put him in the top 15.

I would only take Eli if we get his D line with him. Other wise, no.

Take one team and chose between having Eli, Peyton or Brady run it. I would pick Peyton.

That is assuming you get all three QBs at their peaks.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.
