. . . who ridiculed the few of us who were sounding the alarm all season long about this defense owe use a huge fucking apology.

I've been saying the entire season this team would not win a single playoff game. I've been called every name in the book, had my fanhood questioned, been told I was stupid for not believing that it wouldn't get fixed.

You ignored the irrefutable fact that history is replete with examples of dominant offenses that fell on their faces in the playoffs when they came up against solid defenses. A couple of exceptions here and there don't change that overwhelming trend.

Defense wins championships. Period.

I want to call you guys the same names you called me, but I'll settle for an apology from you. Or even just an admission you were wrong.

I literally want to puke.

I don't think I owe you one cent of an apology. I acknowledged the defense was bad. You kept complaining. Nothing changed. The defense still sucked, and now you feel it fitting to gloat about being right?

I mean, if everyone said "yes our defense sucks, we have no chance" what would that have changed other than take a whole lot of excitement away from this team.

This is one of the most ridiculous posts I've read in a long time.

Sounds like you are specifically calling out Zombie.

Either way, I don't recall you ever saying the Pack wouldn't win a playoff game. But I do recall you stating your defense was porous.

I actually thought the defense played an OK game besides at the end when they were trying to strip the ball. The so called unstoppable offense was stopped today. And all the people were laughing at Alex Smith and guess what he is now in the Championship game. I hope this puts that chip back on this teams shoulder next year and gets all the greatness out of their heads. They stunk up the field today. It's going to be the 49ers and Ravens so they can have a two week love fest with the Harbaughs
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Yep. Our defense was huge last time in the playoffs, communication issues and bad tackling have plagued us all year. Very poor linebacking play and very below average pass rush. We put fear in absolutely no one and that is why we lost. We were dictated to by a team with a better defense and by wide receivers who catch balls rather than drop and fumble them.

We beat ourselves today. The offense lost this game, not the D. But unlike last year, this D can't step up and win games for us.

I rally don't know how one puts this game on the Defence. The turnovers and the missed opportunities on Offense were awful.

In a game like this we needed to defense to step up. I think we all understand how crucial the drops and fumbles were.

I am confused, I didn't think the D did that bad. It wasn't like we lost in a shootout like the Arizona game where you can say that the D is solely to blame. The Offense sucked, really bad. Rodgers looked lost at times, bunch of drops, fumblitis, etc. They scored 13 points if you take away that garbage time TD.

Plus WTF was with that onside kick? The D is not the 49ers or something but I don't think its one of those games you can say the D cost us the game, that was a team effort to lose.

Disappointing for sure but winning back to back Super Bowls is pretty hard. But I'm mad I have to admit that Eli Manning is the real deal, he looked like a MVP out there.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
