Taking a look at our season...One thing I remember from early on in the season and much of the last part of last year is that when we had Clifton healthy as well as with all the other starters, Rodgers was sitting in the pocket with no worries. The Saints actually had to get out of their blitz packages cause Rodgers was burning the single coverage due to the blitzes not hitting home.

After Clifton went down Newhouse has been up down. He had 2 very bad games against Allen that Rodgers nullified by getting the ball out quick and with bootlegs. He's also had countless bad games other than playing the likes of Allen. Losing Sitton is obviously bad as well as Bulaga.

I will say this, playing at home on the slower turf with Clifton, Bulaga and Sitton will make a world of difference.

Goal right now should be dominating the Bears and getting the hell out of the regular season and by the time we play our first game we'll have all our weapons, aside from collins obviously. But I think the biggest thing is getting that offensive line back to health.

Thank you Rios.

I said in the offseason that we were one TE too many and one OL not enough. I love 🇹🇹 & 🇲🇲, but I think that was a mistake.

In the future, keep drafting 2 OL every year. Protect 🇦🇷.

That's true. We could have the starting offensive line for the playoffs that we had to begin the season. Then with Jennings and Starks back we'd be back to having all of our horses on offense. Hope they can all get healed up.

Technically, that should be "no fewer than" 2 OL.[boxing]

More worried about Cliffy than I am about Bulaga. If Cliffy comes back, Newhouse can be the swing tackle, backing up both sides.

Yep, getting that OL healthy is definitely the biggest concern right now for the pack. Rest up and get healed because we will need all the protection we can get in the playoffs.

The OL has been problematic for a while now. They were in the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh hit Rodgers several times in that game. He's just an amazing QB at thinking quickly. That's what teams do when they blitz him. They get him playing faster, which elevates his play. As a result, the OL looks better. With that said, I would agree that Chad Clifton makes a difference if they get him back. Marshall Newhouse has regressed to the point that I think they would’ve benched him for Derek Sherrod in the postseason. That’s why I think they gave Sherrod several reps in the Oakland game. I believe they were preparing him in case Clifton can't return. That's just speculation on my part, though.

dfosterf (8h) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (9h) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (19h) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (22h) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
