A source familiar with Favre’s thinking told ESPNChicago.com that Favre would listen if the Bears came calling.

The Martz Offense is probably the only thing that has prevented it so far.

nerd implies smart, yet you continue to post non-Packers stuff in the Packers section?

They keep saying how complicated the Mike Martz offense is ... Brett Favre I don't believe has ever played in any offense close to it. Then again, I don't think it would be tough for him to learn it enough to be dangerous.

Personally, they should be pulling at Kurt Warner's jock or Marc Bulger.

Please God, make this happen and bring Cock'n'Crocs back to Lambeau behind that Bear O-line for one last beatdown. I've been good, sort of. I haven't asked for anything in a long, long time.

Great news...not.

This had me laughing. Bravo Favre, bravo. =d>

Does he even realize how much he would have to run for his life behind that offensive line?

Does he even realize he would be throwing to receivers that wouldn't even make 3rd or 4th string receivers on ANY NFC North team (okay, maybe the Vikings)?

Edit, if Brett leads the Bears over the Packers, stopping their perfect regular season run at 14 ... does Brett still get in the ring of honor? lol

Favre won't be able to finish the season behind that OL.

Martz's scheme takes a long time for plays to develop. It also depends on solid chemistry between the QB and the WRs. Favre won't be able to be good for half a season with those receivers (even if he was '09 Favre and not '10 Favre).

The other thing, Favre likes TEs. Martz uses TEs for blocking, not receiving.

Absolutely horrible fit.

It won't happen. But hypothetically, for argument's sake, if it happens, Favre will be on IR within 3 games.

It would make much more sense for Favre to go to the Texans.

lets not even care. We won the SB without him, we have a much better QB than he ever was and we are undefeated. He just dosent get it.

Maybe get Dr. Phil to try and talk to him.
