Tips for Green Bay visitors.
There are various locales where you can shall we say "park" and the police will not roust you. One is on the far north end of Military Ave. You go all the way down to Velp and you keep going. There is an old incinerator out there, you go past that and there will be a parking lot where people walk their dogs. The cops won't mess with you if you park there.
The other is the yacht club. That's on the East side, North of the city. Kind of like by Bay Beach, but way down by the river. This would be more of a drive.
This is going from memory, it's been awhile, so things may have changed. Never actually camped in either of these places overnight. Cops will drive through and check things out, but I've never been rousted in these areas.
Maybe do post on Craigslist for a sleeping room or something. Offer to pitch a tent on someone's lawn for $50.

Awesome thanks for the info. I was looking up local DWI laws and I don't think sleeping in my car drunk with the keys in my pocket is the greatest idea. I may just keep it real and end up driving back while letting my friends get drunk.

pretty sure if you are sleeping the drivers seat drunk but your keys are in someone else's pocket noone can get in trouble for that but i could be very wrong.

in other news. park your van. hide keys under a nearby rock, in a bush, under the tire, anywhere outside of the vehicle where no1 else will find it. sleep in van. success.

I did all the research myself. They have to show you all this shit to convict you in a radar case. LD helped me with some of the wording, and I used his HOW TO WRITE A MOTION page for the format. LOL.

But yeah, you're probably best off just not even hassling the cops. Although I think if you were clearly sleeping in your vehicle, I don't think they'd have a big problem with that, as long as the keys weren't in the ignition and you weren't in the driver's seat. Like if you were sleeping in the back of your van or something.
