I was certain that Kyle Orton was going to have a lights out year with passing yards. So sure, I was confident in having him as my starting QB. He had a great practice, looked sharp in pre season. Then I seen him throw a few the first two games, receivers dropped the ball seemingly often. Then he went down hill from there.

Brandon Lloyd will not be getting may yards or touchdowns this season because Tim Tebow is now the starting QB. The guy is a great competitor , no question, I just don't see him being able to pass it 35+ yards with any accuracy in the pro's.

The Broncos fans here are pretty damn excited for their game against Miami.

Tebow is 1 - 2 as a starting QB in the NFL.

I think Tebow is actually a solid NFL QB, judging from those three games last year. He won't post huge stats though. If I wanted a above average game-manager, Tebow would be on my list.

Rooting for him to succeed ... there are a plethora of those folks. If you wanna talk about people who think he CAN succeed as a professional QB, then yes, there are few who believe that. I'm one of them who does not think he can succeed at QB. 🙂

They got Kyle Orton for God sake! (of course, at least they don't have McNabb).

Kyle Orton is far from the problem, nor is he the solution. I had high hopes for his passing stats this year and he turned into a different QB once the games started being real. I wonder if the offensive line letting the defense walk through had any effect on that.

When I'm in Wisconsin, folks are pulling for him to succeed too. I guess I just hang out with a optimistic crowd and you hang out with negative Nancy's, then again, most of whom I know are Packers fans and you know Vikings fans ... nothing to be optimistic about. 😉

And hey, us Viking fans have a lot to be optimistic about.. Like hopefully going 3-13, beating the Packers twice in the process, and getting the number one draft pick in the 2012 NFL draft. 😃

I've seen a lot of NFL fans of various teams who hate Tebow.
There are a few consistent posters on sports.yahoo.com/nfl who no matter what the topic is, they remind the world how much they hate Tebow. It could be about Brett Favre uses X brand dental floss and they'll post how much they hate Tebow.
