I'm more angry that Cobb's gotten drilled for the third time this year after calling for a fair catch, and no flags have been thrown to date. Player safety player schmafety.

For the record, Jeff Triplett is not a lawyer; at least, he's not a practicing lawyer. He is, however, a retired Army colonel, which could go a long way toward explaining his fuckwitedness. [duh]

He was awarded a Bronze Star for his service in the first Gulf War, which basically means he showed up for work and didn't fuck up too egregiously.

He is currently the President and Chief Operating Officer of FNC, Inc., the provider of collateral management technology to the nation's largest mortgage lenders. Whatever the fuck that means.

If we sucked at our jobs half as bad as Jeff Triplett does, we would all be unemployed.

What disturbed me most about the call is that Jeff Triplette seemed to momentarily lose his cool, particularly as he said, "on the Packers!" No matter what happens in a game, the officiating crew should remain glacially calm, if only to maintain the appearance of propriety and impartiality. I never like watching Triplette's crew in any game, but his behavior last night damaged my perception of his professionalism.

He said "Green Bay."

I was listening to Wayne Larivee on WTMJ this morning. GB was coming out on to the field before the ref blew the whistle to signify the end of the play. they had been warned 2 other times. Rules say the 3rd time is a penalty.

beast (38m) : There were reports four days ago that the Packers were signing QB Taylor Elgersma, but no official action since
Zero2Cool (2h) : And for Ian Rapoport to announce Saints send 1st and 2nd rounder to Packers for Malik Willis.
dfosterf (2h) : *Elgersma*
dfosterf (2h) : Today would be a good day to discover the Pack signed Taylor Engersma, the Canadian QB
Zero2Cool (11-May) : It wasn't. He simply wanted his money back. They refused. Cops came. They gave him his money in end.
dfosterf (11-May) : Fortunately it doesn't sound like a big deal

wpr (8-May) : HAHAHA Mucky Comment of the day.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : According to reports, Mel Kiper is furious that Sanders wasn't selected as the new Pope
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Time taken to get picked:
Zero2Cool (8-May) : New Pope: 2 days | Shedeur Sanders: 3 days

Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
