This team is good enough to put other teams away. Like the 96 team did. Did they get beat in 96? Sure. They got creamed in Indianapolis. Still, they didn't consistently let shitty teams hang around, then end up narrowly beating them or having some fluke disaster strike to lose the game. They also didn't have to barely squeak into the playoffs.
I'd just like to see them blow the Broncos out of the water, but something tells me that "flukes" will happen and the Broncos will hang around to the very end.

What matters is accumulating enough wins in the early season to be in the playoff picture, then hitting stride late in the season just like we did.

Gameday Chat is a great place to go to see some grown men act like a 5 year old spoiled kid at Walmart with snot running out of his nose, while screaming and having a fit because he can not have a toy.

Gameday Chat is a place where for some, sensibility goes to die.

Gameday Chat is also a place to go to learn a great deal about the game of football. Thanks to the special people who contribute a great deal of knowledge about the game.

Nerdmann, I know you have some serious psychosis around this loss to Arizona, but you need to know it doesn’t prove every point about the Packers you are trying to make.

I might be convinced (probably not) that it’s a bad thing that the Packers win games in which they allow teams to “hang around.” But the 2009 Arizona playoff overtime loss is not an example of such.

I'm actually on record as saying that loss was a fluke. Point being that, when you are a clearly superior team, it is better to shut the door on lesser teams, rather than consistently letting them hang around.

Mucky Tundra (16-Sep) : bears still have slim chance here
Mucky Tundra (16-Sep) : and there's another one!
