When honestly talking about the Broncos.. the negatives about the team far outweigh the positives in almost every position on the team and the hole the McDaniels dug in his short tenure.

There are just not many positions of strength on this team, and most of the positions of strength are banged up. Take receivers.. they have a couple of very good players.. but two of the front line guys are banged up. Decker may develop into another very nice player.. but teams have seen him now and will start to gameplan for him.. without Royal and a healthy Lloyd the passing game will suffer. They have a weak running game and their defense is lacking in the box.

This should be the easiest game to date for the Packers.. yes the Broncos are that depleted. It would not surprise me to see the Broncos go into the tank early in this one if they get down early.

It is about time for a full out meltdown for the QB situation.. think it might hold off for a couple more weeks but the pressure is building. The funny thing is Orton isn't carrying the majority of fault here in reality.. his play has suffered because of those around him. But that isn't going to stop this surge to replace him.. but it will be fun to watch when Quinn is handed the reigns in place of Tebow.

Shouldn't be closer than 10 for most of the game..

Another game where it shouldn't be close IMO.

And so I'm going to predict routs until the Packers get it right.

Green Bay 51
Denver 0

Broncos have a lot more questions than answers right now. That team has been in every game so far this year, so I will not overlook them. I want to see us get out to an early lead and keep the pressure on Orton all game (I still believe in our secondary).

Should be a fun game!

We should kill 'em but I think this game has a bit of "trap game" potential. The broncos are due to have a good game and if we go into the game thinking its already won we will lose.

That being said I think we will win though. I think its to early in the season for us to arrogantly drop one.

If the crowd start chanting "Tebow" do you think that will distract them and make them play worse? Or tick off Orton and get him to start playing better?

All the makings of a trap game...

I am going to overlook them. They are not a good team, and while GB hasn't been the sharpest team themselves early on, they're still loads better than the Broncos.

I expect the pass defense(more specifically the QB PRESSURE) to finally come through and match the run defense. Orton and company won't beat the Packers.

On offense, I expect Aaron and the boys to do what they do, and if Grant and\or Starks(who I expect to have a bounce back game after what is by far the worst game of his life) do some good things in the running game, that's a nice added bonus.

Prediction:
Packers - 38
Broncos - 13

If the Broncos score more than 14 pts, that will be a little disturbing. Unless they score them via Special Teams, then it's another day at the office for Sloccum.

4-0

Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : Too bad camera's can't spot the ball as well.
Mucky Tundra (1-Apr) : So will the chain gang be gone completely or will they still be around as a backup or whatever?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : A big step in the right direction. Just put in the college system is very very good.
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : NFL has passed a rule that allows both teams to possess the ball in OT during the regular season
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : Touchbacks on kickoffs will now bring the ball to the 35-yard line.
