I like these comments pessimistic Bears fans:

GREEN BAY 58 CHICAGO 7
Jay Cutler starts off the game on an opening drive and led the Bears down the field.
The opening drive of 10 plays including 8 runs and two passes was executed well.
On the Bears next possesion Cutler is sacked in the end zone for a saftey. Rodgers goes on to a 30 compleations of 35 passes and 5 td passes. The rest of the scoring for the Packers came from the three interceptions thrown from Cutler for touchdowns. Needless to say Cutler is not a good leader nor is he a good QB. The so called seven step drop is not designed into any pro playbook. This is a result of a QB who cannot read a defensive set. About the audible; If you don't have the ability to read a basic "D" don,t even try it. Maybe we can trade Cutler to the Eagles for thier Backup Mike Kafka, a chicago native who knows how to play the game.

Packers 20 Bears 13. Bears and Pack usually play each other well, despite what the Bears did at New Orleans. You're gonna see a good dose of runs the first 2 drives, that will yield some Bears points. Then, Martz will start dialing up the pass again, and that's where it'll go downhill. Bears defense will keep this game close until Rodgers wins it for the pack.

To all you Cutler bashers, stop watching the Bears. It is not his fault he gets hit 2 seconds after the snap. Give the guy some protection, and he'll light it up.

Martz's offense doesn't have audibles. Bears receivers can't get open. Protection sucks. Why rip on Cutler? Who's he gonna throw to, himself? Look at Calvin Johnson, getting double and triple teamed, yet still is able to catch everything thrown his way. Who is the Bears top receiver? Hester? Not sure he caught one ball against the Saints.

Bears need alot of help. On the o line, 2 big receivers, and Martz calling smarter plays like 3 and 5 step drops and quick slants. i could call better plays. I'd rather dink and dunk all the way down the field than hope for the occasional 25 yard pass. Colts did it to the Bears during the super bowl run. Take what the defense gives you. If GB will blitz all day, quick passes are the way to go. Just establish the run early and often.

We haven't really put together a complete game yet. If it happen tomorrow we'll win by at least 14pts. Realistically, it will probably sloppy as hell where we lead the whole game and it comes down to Cutler throwing an incompletion on the last drive of the game.

My predictions = Packers win: 27-20

TDs: Kuhn rushing, Finley and James Jones receiving

The reason James Jones has been an afterthought in games 1 & 2 becomes clear.

McCarthy the Mastermind is revealed again, as a Bears team that had planned for Jennings and Finley is destroyed by Driver and Jones, and takes zero prisoners for the entire game.

Driver: 6 catches 80 yards, 1 TD
Jones: 7 catches 120 yards, 3 TDs

Oh yes, and Raji/Green/Pickett OWN the line of scrimmage.

GB 41 Chicago 3

I will say we win another game by 7 pts or less and one tradition continues and that James Jones will have a drop of a sure TD and he will catch a pass and fumble it lol. This will be the usual Bears Packers game, a slugfest and ugly game, but we come out at the end with a win.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Got important meetings tomorrow, so I might not be able to be back for the start of the game. The stuff's supposed to go until 5p but hopefully I can get out early. Try to hold down the fort for me until I get back. Thanks!

I'm expecting both teams to run a more than last week.

Rodgers said he thinks more running would help and the Tampa 2/Cover 2 scheme that the run on D kind of invites trying to run the ball on them as they're protecting from the big pass plays.

The Bears barely ran the ball at all last week and the GM, Head coach and Offensive coordinator all came out and said that needs to change... Mike Martz sure does forget about the run options some times though...
