Why project a thought of a life that isn't tangible? Seems illogical... and defeating.

That question asked.. I contended in another thread that it is the rough of life the allows one to truly notice the fairways.

As for the cruise control lane.. the issue I have with it is why put yourself in a position that alter course if you need or want to? And would it not bore one after a time in the do not pass or do not stop lane?

Very few people have the makeup to be on the road least traveled and I applaud those that get there and stay there. I have a lot of work to do on myself as well.

You live in the land of plastic people, pick one. BTW, I hate you! It's a good thing I was once a really bad sinner and God blessed with a memory.

As for sins, I don't believe in sins. If you're not f***ing someone over, it's all good in my book.

Religions have too many rules. I prefer guidelines and advice. I'll deal with God when I'm dead and I'm sure He'll be cool with what I've done.

1. God doesn't care what you do or don't do. God cares what you believe or don't believe.
2. Maybe it's because I'm a tired geezer, but I think everyone needs to be able to operate on "cruise control" from time to time, if for no other reason than to recharge one's batteries and take a respite from the shit sandwiches. The brain can't be meat all the time. Sometimes it needs to be a vegetable.

Life is not either/or.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

But I'll readily admit, I know very little, and compared to God, I know about one dot on a million book page.

As for #2, agreed. Today, besides returning the tuxedo, I'm doing nothing and probably won't leave the house. I had to take a day off Friday out of exhaustion and instead of taking it easy, I was up shooting pics of a model until 3 AM. So ended up going to a wedding the next morning and I wasn't able to drink any alcohol because I would have collapsed (literally).

I'm hoping this upcoming week, I could be on cruise control. If sleep was a bank, I'm probably 20-30 hours short. There's only so much partying one can do before having to take it easy.

beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
