One thing I am liking about Starks is that he is very consciensious about ball security, double covering it when he is hit or being stood up. Another is that he is not going down on the first hit.

Barely pulled this one out. Tackling seriously needs to be improved.

If this game was any indication, we are in for a very long, heart-attack-inducing season. Our defense positively got shredded this week.

And there is no justice in this world if that official is not penalized for that bogus PI call.

Still, the defense made the plays when it mattered. Two fourth-down stops? F'n impressive. And Jarius Wynn blew my socks off with his impressive play.

Only serious concern is Tramon's injury. I mean I can understand Nick Collins throwing his body out. I appreciate that. But damn, we cannot lose Tramon.

Seriously, Jarius Wynn got lower than the entire Saints O-line on the first fourth-down stop. Jarius Wynn - the same dude who was the lone D-linemen in our psycho package. Had a hell of a game. And with a name like Wynn, the possibilities of having some fun with his name are good ("All he does is Wynn, Wynn, Wynn no matter what" and "Wynning!" to name some).

Then Pickett, with Morgan Burnett doing his best impersonation of a spider-monkey, got the second fourth-down stop to win the game.

Honestly, I know we are the reigning Superbowl champs and all... but we don't exactly have a reputation as a tough-as-nails team to get a yard on.
