Anyways, I LOVE seeing Mike playing for keeps in the preseason with the backups. Definitely had a real game feel at the end, very important experience for the young'uns. I think my biggest worry after this game was with Clifton being annihilated by the bull rush and the O Line struggles in general, although the backups did a good job in the last two drives keeping Harrell upright. Guess it's one of those things that you have to hope will get better in the regular season, because if we have Rodgers take 60+ sacks a year, he won't last forever.

I think some of what helped Harrell was the dump off passes. They were in his face pretty quick too.

back to the game-

the #1 offense had it share of problems. I really don't mind if they can only move the ball in the no huddle offense if they stay in the no huddle all season.

I assume they will work the kinks out. I just hope it doesn't take until week 8 or 10 to get going on a consistent bases.

Hated to see Grant hit in the backfield and work to get 1/2 yard. Why run the play to the weaker run blocking side of the line?
