Broncos kicker Matt Prater arrested for driving drunk

Mike Vanderjagt may be long gone, but we have another kicker that got liquored up.

Matt Prater was arrested for driving under the influence last week in the Denver area, according to the Denver Post. He’s charged with DUI and fleeing the scene of an accident.

We have to assume the Broncos were aware of the 10-day-old incident.

Prater kicked in Thursday night’s preseason opener, hitting all three of his field goals.

"The oranges are dry; the apples are mealy; and the papayas... I don't know what's going on with the papayas!"
