In 2009 Nick Barnett ranked 3rd best among all inside linebackers. He also ranked high in almost every category, including 1st in pass rushing and 3rd in pass coverage. If anything Barnett was better in the 3-4 defense. The only reason I like Bishop more is for his consistency and youth. Otherwise, Nick Barnett was a great linebacker too.

I was watching my XLV DVD last night and Bishop's hit on Brady got me aroused. Love seeing him crush QBs.

Well I'll be damned. I remember how confused I was a few years ago when dude was a crazy preseason favorite and never got the nod. Glad he not only got the nod but made the best of it (or, fifth best, I suppose).
