12-4, baby. There's no science to this at all. My gut is week 1 will be our hardest matchup all season long. The Atlanta, Bears, Detroit, Chargers, Tampa, Giants, and Viking games are all tough ones as well. I'm just betting we win most of 'em. My most basic logic is you take a 10 win team from last year and maybe don't lose 15 guys to injury, who knows, those close losses become wins.

I see a few pussies who just put down the record instead of game by game. You've got nothing better to do on a Sunday. C'mon, have some fun with it!

I need to see at least 8 regular season games before an accurate assessment can be made.

But since that's no fun, here's my best bet.

Home (7-1)

L - New Orleans Saints
W - Denver Broncos
W - St Louis Rams
W - Minnesota Vikings
W - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
W - Oakland Raiders
W - Chicago Bears
W - Detroit Lions

Away (5-3)

W - Carolina Panthers

L - Minnesota Vikings
L - San Diego Chargers
L - Detroit Lions
W - New York Giants
W - Kansas City Chiefs

NFC North Standings:

Green Bay 12-4
Detroit 10-6*
Chicago 8-8
Minnesota 6-10

*I'm actually leaning more towards 9-7 but under this scenario we'd go into the final week against the Lions playing for the division crown. That's a far more entertaining prospect so 10-6 will be my official pick.

NFC Playoffs

1. Philadelphia 13-3 (part hype, part they get to play the NFC West)
2. Green Bay 12-4
3. Atlanta 11-5
4. St. Louis 8-8
5. New Orleans 10-6
6. Detroit 10-6

AFC Playoffs

1. Pittsburgh 13-3
2. New England 12-4
3. Indianapolis 10-6
4. San Diego 10-6
5. Baltimore 11-5
6. New York 9-7
