I saw this on Facebook and decided to post it here too.

The NFL is planning on highlighting the top 5 plays ever to happen at Lambeau Field. Let us know what you think they should be!

The Ice Bowl play is the obvious #1. After that, Chester Marcol, Don Majkowski, maybe Antonio Freeman's catch, Don Chandler's FG in whatever order you want. Maybe Freeman's catch being #5.

I can not believe I left Al Harris TD off. It was in my original notes.

You now can do multiple votes.

The Ice Bowl QB sneak was more about the drive and the 60s Packers as a whole than it was a single play. I would argue that entire game defines the Green Bay Packers, but I can't vote for a QB sneak as the top play in the history of Lambeau.[-(

I voted for "He Did What?"

That play was absurd on so many levels and might be a once in a lifetime type of finish.

As for the Ice Bowl play, as nerdmann says, it is the obvious #1. It's not just the play itself, it's the circumstances and what the play represents. It was a gritty play. It was Green Bay football.

Maybe after that, I go Harris, Freeman, Marcol, Levens.

Of coarse- The QB sneak by Bart Starr was greatest play in LF history. There was no way, a Packer running back was going to run the bsll into endzone, in that very icey field conditions of LF. Nobody expected a QB sneak by Bart Starr. A regular running play by the packer running was called by Bart Starr .Unknown to the Packer team , Bart and Vince and he decided to run a QB sneak instead, It worked and Packer beat the Cowboys 21 to 17 & won NFL Championship at LF .Packers went on to win Super Bowl II. And in that -17 degree temp and wind chill factor of -48. There was TD scored and there woild be no FG attempt to put the game into OT. And as Vince was quoted as saying to Bart Starr . "Run the play and let get the "Hell" out of here!!!!!
All at Capacity Crowd at LF would agree to that Statement by Vince.

There has never been a bigger celebration of New years Eve in Green Bay on December 31, 1967 after that Packer ice Bowl victory. , Beer and booze flowed at the drinking establishments in Green Bay until wee hours of morning of New Year Day -1968.

I had good good fortune to be at Ice Bowl and New years Celebration in GB.

Awesome post, PWT36. My aunt was at that game too.

It is the most famous play in the history of the entire NFL.

wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.

Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
