Heh. Is this article a praise for Bulaga or Sitton?

I gotta give kudos to Sitton. He's starting to get a lot of attention (in a good way).

I am an Iowa Hawkeye fan so my view on Bulaga might be biased. However, watching him play for Iowa I have no doubt in my mind that he is going to be an amazing player at tackle for the Packers. I would hope that Sherrod is able to man the left side (after Clifton is 100% done) and Bulaga anchors the right side next to Sitton. Playing next to Sitton will make Bulaga that much better. I think he did alright in his rookie season. He was drafted for left side, practiced everything on the left and was immediately switched to right...something I don't think most rookies would be able to do at any position.

I am biased as a Hawkeye and Packer fan, but I think Bulaga had a solid season. I am a former o-lineman, never played at a high level of football but can relate to switching sides on the line (right to left) and there is an adjustment. I think Bulaga improved as the season went on, but would also agree that Rodgers helped make the line look good. IMO if Bulaga stays healthy he will have a long future in the NFL.

The comments by porky and Pack93z about Bulaga's Super Bowl performance inspired me to watch the Super Bowl again, paying special attention to Bulaga. I still think he did very well. On that first TD drive he gave up pressure to Woodley on consecutive plays, but Rodgers was able to step up because the rest of the line held. In the third quarter he gave up another pressure. But for the most part, he was isolated on Woodley and kept him at bay. That's pretty darn good considering that the Packers passed on almost every play in the second half and many of the throws were 10-20 yards downfield. They weren't just dinking and dunking.

By the way, Woodley had two pressures that were not Bulaga's fault. One was against Kuhn and one was against Donald Lee.

Surely Greg, you must realize he held Woodley on every play. 🙂 I have a lot of Steeler buddies.

I like Bulaga, but do not see him on the left side unless it was at guard. I think he is fine right where he is at.
