Finally you reply to a draft thread. I was waiting to hear your thoughts on some players, since I think you spend a fair amount of time watching / reading things pertaining to draft eligible players.

This kid is a stud. Depending on his transition from defensive line to OLB, he would compliment the position opposite of Matthews.

A few things I recognize instantly from his highlight reel is that he has amazing play recognition. He is able to move while finding the ball, which is damn awesome. There is also a few times where he is splitting a double team. Seems to have a "Matthews-like motor" as well and doesn't give up on plays.

I like.

What a great late round pick. I wonder if they were watching video on Brooks Reed and decided they liked Elmore at least as much. He plays with great leverage, prototypical 3-4 OLB size, very productive in college (a pattern you see with Ted Thompson draft picks), and he definitely seems to have a bit of the CM3 fire.

This and Guy were two very solid late round draft choices.

A lot of scouts/experts say the play of Brooks Reed stole the attention from Ricky Elmore. Was placed as a top 10 DE/OLB in some cases.

Its amazing what Ted Thompson can do in the late rounds of the draft. As a Packers fan, I anticipate these picks just as much as 1st/2nd rounders.

Scouts didn't seem to like him very much because of his slower 40. For some reason I think he'll really surprise and be really good. This might be my Packer bias coming out, but I hope I'm right.
