Months after Chicago Bears fans were questioning their quarterback's commitment after a bizarre outing in the NFC Championship, Jay Cutler apparently is ready to make a commitment of another kind.

E! Online is reporting that Cutler is engaged to Kristin Cavallari, who appeared on the reality TV shows "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills." According to the website, the couple met at a Bears game in August and were recently engaged during a vacation to Cabo San Lucas.

In his second season in Chicago after being traded from the Denver Broncos, Cutler led the Bears to the NFC Championship but was criticized by many NFL fans, players and analysts (and seemingly anyone with a Twitter account) after spending much of the second half of that game on the sideline with a much-debated knee injury.
