Is anyone doing anything special for the draft?
One of the drawbacks to having the draft scattered over 3 days with Th and Fri being the main two, it makes it more difficult to get a group together.

I think I will camp out in front of the tv and log on to PH for most of the time. Order a pizza or something.

I'll be blogging live along with another writer at http://www.fantasyfootballjungle.com/

Maybe I'll check into the chat if I have time as well.

We're on Easter vacation here, so I will be around. Of course, we are also 7 hours ahead of you guys, so I guess I will have to take a nap first. What time does the draft start on Thursday again?

It is 4 days
11 hours
15 minutes
so I think that means 7:30 CST.

Damn. That means the draft won't start till 2:30 a.m. here, and the Packers might not pick till after 7:30 a.m. I guess I am going to be taking a long nap!

I'm incredibly un-hyped for the draft, since it's impossible to tell what teams will do since they can fill holes in the FA sometime after the draft. But I guess I'll be chatting with you guys anyway.

Anyone know if NFL.com will put up a high quality stream of the draft this year?

I'm pretty underwhelmed. I used to love watching the draft all day Saturday. But "prime time" doesn't do it for me. I'm too old to stay up late and work the next day.

Plus, the best part for me was watching the trading. And I have a sneaking suspicion that there won't be many of those at all this year.

I wonder if they'll show the Packers picks this year because they won the Super Bowl....or if they'll do their usual cut to commercial or another interview of the hairdresser of the third grade phonics teacher of the fourth overall pick in the draft.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I understand their reasoning, but breaking the draft up the way they did just doesn't work for me. I can't see watching for hours and then have the potential of the Packers trading down, which would have shot the whole night for nothing.

I'll be doing something else Thurs night and check in on Fri to see what happened.

I wondered it myself. I figure they will have to show their picks since they will go to a commercial break at the end of the round.
