Hey are the games still archived here? I've got the New England game, and have been reviewing it. We woulda coulda and SHOULDA won this game, hands down.
What cost us the game:
1: Woody dropped a SURE pick 6 early in the game.
2: That kickoff return by the offensive guard, returned 71 yards. Makes me want to puke.
3: We got the ball on a gutsy onside kick to start out, so we also got the ball to open the half. At which time Jones cut a route off early due to a defender getting position on him, which resulted in a pick 6 for NE. Shitty tackling by Swain on that play too.
Which means the Pats scored on a gimme fluke play right before the half AND right after the half. Disgusting.
I'm still in the third quarter, but I also remember how the game ended:
4: MM/Flynn pissed away 1:30 at the end of the game instead of rallying from behind for victory. Flynn also wasted a couple TO's in the first half.
IIRC, Flynn throws another INT. Hasn't yet tho. Flynn's looked good, and I'm not sure Arodge would have been much better. This offense struggles on natural surfaces.
James Jones CAUGHT one of those long TDs down the sidelines that he usually drops. Bobbled it though. LOL.
