Hello my Packers brethren. Just got off the phone....proposal will be complete for review on Monday/Tuesday. Already know what the gig is in terms of bennies and pay....just a mattter of what the base/commission structure will be. In either case, I should make damn near the same walking in as I last earned over 20 years in my last industry.

I was told that everyone is looking forward to having me as part of their team, and that his daughter and son in law (successors of the business when he retires) really enjoyed meeting me and are excited to have me coming on board. Really, it was not so much my skills, but personality and fit into a company whose employees are all long-term and family.

Crackin' a beer, and going out for big beef tonight!! WOO-HOO!!!!!
