I'm a big Yankees fan, but I have hats and stuff from a ton of different teams. I guess I'm more of a baseball fan than just a Yankees fan.

But the Packers, on the other hand, are the only NFL team I'll buy things from. Strike that, I guess the only exception are the Tampa Bay Bucs. I have family down there and I have a soft spot for those ugly old orange uniforms. Otherwise I feel like I'm cheating on the Packers if I even look at other teams' merch.

My son is going to New York in January.

He says he's going to buy me a Jets #4 Favre jersey.

He's been warned he'll be disowned if he so much as looks at one.

In defense of American cars in general, America does make excellent cars. You just have to know which ones are good.

I got 272k miles out of my 88 Ford Taurus. Great car, but at 272k, the tranny went out. I don't do tranny work so I junked it.

Got 153k miles out of my Saturn. I traded it in for another Saturn. Great car, but the two years in Seattle really did that car in. Seattle sucks. Bumper to bumper traffic. I lived 7 freaking miles from work and it took me an hour and a half to get home. Needless to say, that put a lot of wear on the clutch.

I proudly say I drive American cars exclusively, and never had any problems. Ford, GM - both capable companies. Yes, they put out lemons, but go to Consumer Reports, find out which ones are good and which ones suck, and buy accordingly.

Cool. I'm going to pick one up and wear it proudly.

Yes, the Packers are still my favorite team and they always will be, but Brett Favre is my favorite player ever and I'll proudly now root for the Jets as long as they're not playing us.
