WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Packers wide receiver Donald Driver read to children in the nation's capitol Wednesday.

He' was the featured reader at the first lady's "Read Across America" kickoff party.
Driver read his children's book, "Quickie Makes The Team."
The event took place inside the Library Of Congress.
Proceeds of Driver's book go to the Donald Driver Foundation, which combats educational inequalities and homelessness.
Read Across America Day is an annual celebration of reading held on Dr. Seuss' birthday by the National Education Association.
