I would love to hear about YOUR Super Bowl Monday. The day after.

Mine was challenging.

I had to wake and go to work the morning after The Packers Victory.

I was fired up, I was capital. I was on cloud nine. I wanted to just hug somebody, anybody that I met that morning. Monday... The day After.

Then I had to go to work, and on that Super Bowl Monday my work was the worst possible place I could have been due to the euphoria that was pulsing through my veins, the smile on my face, and the glow surrounding me.

If I was going to be working that morning speaking to sales people at a conference or kick off program for Toyota or Re Max it would have been great perhaps. I could have used that Packers win Euphoria to kick ass.

The Monday after the Packers win I had to work (Speak) at a conference of (At Need and Pre Need) cemetery sales people for a large Funeral/Cemetery company.

Trust me.. The people in the business of "Death" are a very strange group of people. I love them. But they are just a strange group of people. Smiling is not the norm walking through a visitation center to a conference room.. Many of the people working there look like they died already.

It was the toughest program I ever had to do. Due to the fact I was still on an incredible bliss injected high of glee.

I wanted to wait... (give you all a chance to slow your heart rate and calm down) Before I asked this question to the great Packer Fans on this great site.

Should The Super Bowl really be played on a Sunday?

I think YES. But only if it is agreed by congress that Every Monday After A SUPER BOWL is a National Holiday. Otherwise play the damn game on Saturday so we do not have to work the next day.

I am curious... I would love to know how tough it was to go to work for the faithful here on this great forum after Winning The Super Bowl?

hit the gym early in the morning feeling great. after the gym the hangover hit me in full force and i couldn't manage to eat, so gym day was a waste. spent the next couple hours doing homework i skipped out on for the game then went to class. would have been a shitty day had we not just won the superbowl, nothing could take the smile off my face.

Spent the entire day getting high-fives from classmates, oddly enough. Everybody was saying "congratulations" and "I wish I knew what it felt like" etc. etc. etc. They won't. The Packers will win every single Super Bowl for the rest of history. BOOM!

Super Bowl Monday was absolutely euphoric.

I wore my Driver jersey over the coverall I wear when I take my dog for a walk. I may have looked like a dork but I did not care. It was pretty cold so I did not take my dog on a long walk thru the park. I just went around the block (half mile or so) and back tot he house. Didn't see anyone as it was still early.

Had a few people tell me congratulations. I usually just chuckle and tell them that it is not as if I worked so hard getting that victory but I do appreciate their kind words.

Ended up working longer at the office came home and made chilli mac for my wife and I for dinner. Watched the replay of the game.

I spent my entire day at work and first few hours at home watching replays, highlights and reading articles. I don't think I did a single lick of work at work.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

I had tons of work Monday. Didn't have time to enjoy thinking about the game.

The other thing, this sounds odd, but I knew we'd win. My big mistake is I thought we'd win by 20+ points. I was relieved when the Steelers couldn't complete that 4th down pass.

I have a chunk of benefit hours and gladly put in for a day off that Monday.

Glad I did.

First thing I did when I woke up was hit the computer for any possible news on the Super Bowl I could find. That was hours upon hours of "work" and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Spent another few hours of the day looking at Super Bowl apparel and collectibles. When my wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday a week earlier, I had told her I want to wait till the Packers win the Super Bowl for a gift so I looked for that.

...and I slept some more after that. Pretty sure the entire time, I had a smile on my face and the thought of the Packers winning the game was still so surreal.

I'm retired so I didn't have to worry about Monday, but my wife took Monday off so we were still celebrating. We had recorded the game so we watched it again. We then watched the Packers return to Green Bay and their bus ride back to Lambeau.
Next we watched the game again (fast forwarding to Packers scoring only).
Next we watched the Larry McCarran show which had been taped previously.
Then we went to bed and had sex in honor of the win.

Tuesday, my youngest son and I went to Lambeau for the return to Title Town Celebration.

What a fantastic ride!

Anyway, like twinkie said, Monday was one of my least productive days at work ever. I spend about 4 hours reading articles, looking at pics, and finding about every link I could to have people tell me why the Packers are the greatest team in the world.

Went to the pool and swam then came home and hopped on the bike in my basement. Usually that is a total drag but I was able to read/watch all about the super bowl so the time just flew by.
