As some of you know, I have some friends making the trek from Fargo, ND to Green Bay for the Dallas game this year. Since she knows that I fraternize with the enemy (you guys) 😉, she sent my wife the following email:

Would your hubby mind doing one more research thing for me the next time he is on one of the Packer blogs? Can he find out which lot is best to park in/tailgate at? My options are:
Arena Lot
Blue Lot (which I know has the Bart Starr Tailgating Party and the one I think I am going to do unless I hear otherwise)
Stadium View
Sarnac Glove
Brett Favres Steakhouse (which I also think has a tailgating thing but doesnt sound as big, but I could totally be wrong)

Suggestions? Are any of those lots good, or are there better ones?

If she is a cowgirls fan, I suggest she tailgate right underneath the Ashwaubenon water tower.
Seriously there is not a bad place to tailgate around Lambeau.
I guess the densest crowds if that's what she wants are in the Stadiumview area.

I usually start down towards stadium view and in those couple of blocks and then kind of make my way towards the south end of the field and hit a couple of places that I have parked for years.. some of the very places that the Packers are buying up lately.. been hitting some of those same haunts for years.

But back to the out of town'ers .. there isn't a bad spot east or west of the stadium.. both have plenty of attractions fit for all ages.

I am sure they will.. a few years ago.. had one of the best steaks I have had there at Brett's.. little pricey but good.. I enjoyed the atmosphere as well.. that block or two down there is my favorite spot in the end to tailgate.. music and just an overall good time.

LOTS of tailgating in the KMart parking lot. The lots closer to Lambeau are usually full of "regulars" so you may be more comfortable at KMart.

I usually tailgate in the grass behind Favres steakhouse. they give you alot of room to tailgate plus the Favre steakhouse is right next to you in case you need the bathroom. Also, getting out after the game isnt as bad as you enter and exit off the beaten path.

You catch on quick ! ! ! I would tail as close to/in Lambeau parking lot as possible. Take them to the Packer Hall of Fame and do your best to get them to "see the light" and convert them, as any Packer disciple would. :thumbright:

I did this with a Bear fan, couldn't get him all the way but at least the Packers are his second favorite team rather than his mortal enemy. I'm still working on it and I think I can make some progress this coming season !
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?
