The Favre talk will never end. This proved it. But hopefully now people won't be wondering about the "monkey on the back." It will be something more like talking about how the Packers have such a great QB lineage.

One question: I am too young to really remember this at all, but did Steve Young get a lot of flack about Montana in the beginning of his career? Or even throughout it?
Green Bay: Home of the Green & Gold. And the hunter orange. And the camouflage.

Young was vilified by 49ers fans until he won.

After the super bowl was pretty much decided, a player on the team mimicked taking a giant monkey off Young's back.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

If I am Rodgers.. after this season.. I put a standing order on all interview.. ask me a Brett question.. the interview is terminated.

Enough is enough.

Aaron is his own man.. his own QB. Enough all ready, I understand the need to ask in this moment.. but it should end now.

This is a GREAT idea. Once someone says "Brett F...", simply get up and walk out. Warn them ahead of time so it makes them look like the bad guys.

-sigh-

There's no pettiness. It's the constant comparison that I'm hoping ends.

So I should just ignore everything Packers, right? Give me a break. We've had threads about Ryan Grant turn into Brett Favre, how the hell am I supposed to dodge that one huh? You got all the answers, for the love of god please help me decipher that one!

You dont have to open it up for discussion, you dont have to read it. Simple as that. It doesn't mean stop following the Packers news wire.

Bo Pelini yelling at Taylor Martinez was a big stink this past season. I knew the discussion and talking was there, but I chose to not bother. Because it's not important. And more so, blown way out of proportion.

"Ryan Grant is sorely missed'

A thread with that topic should not translate into "Rodgers is better than Favre"

You didn't help me, just proved my point on how annoying it is when threads are derailed. 🙂

Looking back at the SB after the '96 season, Favre played a heck of a game and accounted for 3 TDs - 2 passing, one rushing. Plus, he added a 2-point conversion throw. One can argue that Favre or Reggie White were more important than Desmond Howard.

But it will all be a moot point anyways ten years from now as Rodgers would have 4 SB wins.
