I was wrong that we needed the road to Dallas/SB roll through GB.

I was pleasantly wrong about Starks giving us something.

I was wrong that Hawk couldn't recapture some of the OSU play.

I was wrong about so many things.. but I will be wrong on many more going forward.

The list could be long.

But.. Damn it feels good to be a Packer.

Ehh, he's not the only one. I'll get this all off my chest in this thread, because the fact is that now is the time to celebrate the team.

First, what I was wrong about: Sam Shields. It didn't take long to take his side after a few games, but I was really worried about the DBs to start the season. Green Bay's weakness last year was depth at DB. To think that Shields played so well and that when the clock ran out last night Pat Lee and Jarrett Bush were on the field (hell, Bush had an INT!) is truly amazing. I wanted us to draft a CB or at least ride it out until Harris came back. Turns out Shields was the man the whole time.

I'm sure I've been wrong about other things. I wasn't wrong about McCarthy. People have had legitimate gripes but they often devolved into pissy, emotional, and unsubstantive rants. It may seem like I had my head up McCarthy's jockstrap but I always tried to explain WHY I thought there was more too it -- particularly in regards to playcalling. As the dust of Super Bowl XLV settles I think it's pretty clear we have a top-flight coach calling the plays.

Where's Chutzpah these days? I really like most of yall on here. But that dude was a turd, and I have no problem announcing it publicly.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

definitely thought the 3-4 was a bust - WRONG!

didn't think mccarthy could coach himself out of a bag at times - WRONG!

thought it'd at least be 2 more years before we went to the SB - WRONG!

sometimes it's freakin awesome to be wrong. 😃

The biggie for me was Charles Woodson. When Thompson signed him for all that dough, I thought he was injury prone and would have attitude problems. Wrong and wrong again. I was totally wrong about Charles Woodson, though he won me over pretty quickly once he took the field in a Packer uniform.

beast (13-May) : Well Jenkins probably knows he's not getting that 2026 salary number without a new contact... so just trying to get the new contact early
Zero2Cool (13-May) : CB Rasul Douglas is visiting the #Seahawks today, per source.
dfosterf (13-May) : He's a switch and baiter. Its the same as a bait and switcher except he agreed to the switch first lol
