So much for Super Bowl experience

That was such a dumb angle all week--that the Steelers had a big advantage because of their Super Bowl experience. But the Packers came out much calmer and made the big plays down the stretch to seal the win. If Woodson and Shields hadn't gotten hurt, this easily could've turned into a blowout.

The Packers are clutch!

This team, starting after the Pats loss had a tremendous confidence to it.

McCarthy made some strong comments that basically implied we'll win Sunday.

What. A. Team.

agreed Greg. I said that buys like Woody and Pickett who missed out would be hungrier and get the other guys lined up.

I said that in a column I wrote for the jungle. People get caught up in the past. The better team in 2010 was going to win. Not 05 or 08. 2010! The Packers are better, though the Steelers were a worthy opponent.

I was so impressed with the Packers. They didn't seem nervous AT ALL. I expected them to be a little nervous at first. Woodson told a great story about how relaxed this team was last night at the hotel. They were playing the piano and singing. These guys have ice water running through their veins. Especially the QB, he put on a Joe Montana like performance today. His idol would be proud, if he wasn't a Pittsburgh native that is 😉

like wpr noted, dropped passes in addition to a slow start and Rodgers throwing a smidge high were indications of SOME nerves which are only to be expected.

However, experience in a Super Bowl is relatively overrated as we saw. You still play 60 minutes of football regardless, both teams have been on very big stages like the A/NFC Champ games, and the Packers have been in do-or-die mode for 6 games now.
