Super Bowl XLV Uniforms

Hey there,
I'm of the understanding that the NFC has home field advantage for odd-numbered Super Bowls. This being Super Bowl XLV (45), am I correct in assuming that the Packers will be wearing their green jerseys?

I've looked around online to order an authentic Packers Super Bowl XLV jersey (with the XLV patch)... and all that I've seen are the visitor white ones depicting the patch?

Does anyone know for certain what the uniform situation will be? I'd like to be wearing whats being worn on the field on game day. Thanks!

I don't have a specific answer for you, but the fact that they will be considered the home team doesn't necessarily mean that they'll be wearing the traditional home greens. It means that they get to choose what color they will wear.

I think they get their choice..

but they are the home team, so for sure they will be wearing Green

I'm down with white (since we've won all post-season with it) and I'm down with green (since I attend some home games)... I just want to know for sure, so that I buy the correct one.

Does anyone know if they announce it anywhere? Or if they wear them at the first media day this week (so we can tell)?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Packers did the same, for the same reason. Which for the Steelers was, we got here with the whites, we want to win with the whites.

Here's a site that has them pretty cheap, however I'm not too sure if they would arrive in time.

Really hope they continue to wear the white ones the rest of the way. Would seem fitting. Would make for an interesting poll!

Spoirts Line program on on WDUZ Sports radio -Green Bay has announced the Packers are the home team for the Super Bowl and will be wearing their greens.
