All I know was that Ted Thompson look uncomfortable as hell in that room with all those people. I couldn't stop laughing after seeing him there all squinty eyed and nervous. I love the guy to death but that was funny.

Back in the middle of the week I heard on one of the Chicago radio stations if the Bears won the trophy would be presented outside. If GB won, in the locker room.

Seems the NFL did not want to see a scene similar to the Blackhawks getting the Stanley Cup in Philly. I thought it was unfair. The Chicago fans would have been better behaved that Phil Phans.

George S. Halas trophy given to the Packers in the middle of Soldier Field. That could have started WW3. Would have loved to see that.

I wish it was outside as well and idk about you guys I hate the fact that they changed the Halas trophy as well. I like the old one better.

No it wasn't, It was raining in SF. Favre has on his white jersey. The Niners were 13-3 in a weak division and we had to go out there and slap them around.

Yep, it was the '97 season. I thought he had the goatee only in '96. We beat the 49ers, 23 - 10.

Nick Collins had that incident with a Bears fan early in the year. That might have had something to do with it. I am just speculating here, not claiming to actually know anything for sure.
