Apparently it was at the Family Night scrimmage that he drew boos from the fans in the stands. I stand corrected.

LOL It worked.

I love that Quote Box hidden in all of the other boxes that I have no idea what they mean.

I don't doubt that there were some boos at the scrimmage (though I don't remember them), and that little kid told him he sucked. That was awful, but it was only one little kid, and the general response by Packer fans to this story was outrage that the kid's dad would allow that to happen.

But if Rodgers hadn't been such a good player and such a likable guy, it could've been really ugly, and it could've gone on for years. Lower attendance, maybe, or a lot of negative signs in the stands, or who knows what else. Instead, all I remember was a dip in attendance at training camp practices. And Ann Killion is right that Favre's poor handling of the whole situation ultimately made things easier for Rodgers. It was worse at the beginning, but once Favre was gone, a lot of people were firmly on Rodgers' side.

Rodgers' development is all on MM. If he would've stayed in San Fran, Alex Smith would be the star. Ted Thompson in his wisdom knew he needed someone to develop his boy. And that it wasn't gonna be Sherman and Rosseley.

ZERO.

You are a brilliant computer mind.

Some of us loyal members have far less knowledge. It is indeed a challenge for us. This is not a huge thing, and it most likely has to do with age, and or the work we do.

Hey, it worked, though it took me awhile to find that icon. It's buried in amongst all the others, right next to the all-important skull and crossbones. Thanks for your patience, guys. I'm no good at this computer stuff.

Zero.... You took the time to explain this to Peons like Greg and I in this comment. I just tried the quote icon...

I hope it works.

Always remember.. Not everyone is as smart as you are. And I mean that sincerely. Be slow... explain some things like you were talking to a two year old.

Or worse. Personally, I dream of the day when my computer savvy reaches the rarefied air of a two year old.

Whoah, a bit personal there, don't you think? But I also disagree with nerdmann. I don't think Rodgers and Smith are interchangeable.

I think the quarterback makes the coach more often than the coach makes the quarterback. Even Mike Holmgren, who was so important for Brett Favre's development, never had the same level of success without Favre. In Seattle, he had a very good, but not great, QB in Hasselbeck, and the team's level of success was exactly on par with that.
