The WTMJ Radio call of the NFC Championship game will be carried only in the Milwaukee and Green Bay markets.
Because of league policy, none of the other 49 stations that make up the Packers radio network is allowed to carry the WTMJ call. The same holds true for the Super Bowl, if the Packers win on Sunday.
Markets outside of Milwaukee and Green Bay can carry the CBS Radio Sports/Westwood One call of the NFC Championship and Super Bowl. Kevin Harlan, Randy Cross and Mark Malone are on the Westwood One call for the NFC title game. Harlan and Boomer Esiason will call the Super Bowl.
"I get to select my playoff schedule as it is and I chose Packers-Bears," Harlan said Wednesday.
The stations who will get the NFC title call of WTMJ Radio's Wayne Larrivee and Larry McCarren are WTMJ-AM (620) in Milwaukee and WTAQ-AM (1360), WIXX-FM (101.1) and WTAQ-FM (97.5) in Green Bay.
SiriusXM satellite radio subscribers can hear the home-team radio calls for both the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl. XM subscribers must have the "Best of Sirius" package to get the home team calls.
