Tight end Kellen Davis believes he knows who will win Sunday's NFC Championship Game: His Chicago Bears, of course.

Green Bay Packers running back Ryan Grant isn't so sure.

The Bears will be home Sunday against the Packers in only the second playoff meeting in the decades-long rivalry.

"I'm just glad to be a part of the history it's going to be, because we're gonna win," Davis said Monday night on WSCR-AM, according to the Chicago Tribune. "It's gonna be a huge game, the crowd's gonna be crazy, and the build-up is gonna be nuts, and we're gonna go to the Super Bowl, so I'm ecstatic."

Davis caught two passes for 42 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's NFC Divisional Playoff victory over the Seattle Seahawks. He has just 10 regular-season receptions in two NFL seasons, nine of them in 2009.

After Saturday night's victory over the top-seeded Atlanta Falcons, Grant wrote on his Twitter feed that he believed the Packers were Super Bowl-bound, regardless who won the Bears-Seahawks game.

"Pack Fans might want 2 start booking flights 4 feb," wrote Grant, who suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the opener. "Not looking ahead but u c we just have better players than other teams."

Ummm I would be a bit disappointed if a guy actually said the other team was going to win 😞 Can you picture Rodgers coming out and saying man we are a great team but we just have problems down there, I think it will be a close game but our season will end Sunday. That would make the other players fight for him lol.

In other words move on nothing to read here 😛
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Your point would be valid, IF someone had asked him who was going to win. However, he went out on a limb and just outright said they were going to win without anyone asking him.

Yeah nothing here, I only pay attention to stuff like this when someone puts out those "guarantees". Then it gets kind of interesting but even then, everyone throws those out now so they've lost their significance.

The ones I remember the most were obviously hearing about Namath's as I wasn't around back them and Mark Messier's guarantee over the NJ Devils in game 6 of the 1994 NHL semi-finals. Messier's thing was awesome, I think he even ended up scoring the clinching goal in that game.

Wait so Davis didn't guarantee a victory? He said that they were going to win and are going to the superbowl.

Dreams are shattered when swagger/cockiness transforms into entitlement/complacency.

Bears are easily one of the hardest teams Rodgers has come up against statistically. Let's not go crown anything yet.

beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
