RP there is a reason I choose to visit the chat often.. not because I don't want to enjoy the games with the members here.

But 1.. I am a fan that does not enjoy listening to how this guy sucks, or F$*% that guy.. players make mistakes or at times the other teams make plays.. I enjoy football with my Packer bias of course.

2. A good number of the chats surround topics that don't apply to football in any nature. During the games I am too into the games to try to shift through all the hormones running wild.

Each to their own.. I have tried a number of times to get into the chat, but the white noise and ridiculous overreactions of some make it hard to stick around.

Basically not my up of tea and that is okay.. not everything is meant for everybody.

As a marine around he says once in a while.. just not how I roll.

You're all pussies. LOL.

The only thing I said after that kickoff return was, I sure hope for Slocum's sake that isn't the difference in the game.

So next week if we're in Chicago and they ugly up the game to make it close, who'll be calling for who's job. I don't think we can play much better than yesterday, so enjoy it boys.

I will say that I greatly enjoyed saying "FIRE MM" after the falcons scored a TD in the fourth.

I would contribute in the chat but I can never get it to work. It always gives me an error...the feed works fine for me though.

But on a nationally televised game I would be in my living room watching in HD, which is nowhere near my computer.

During the Packers games, the white noise is not that relevant. There are a handful who (nerdmann for one) that go overboard and blame Mike McCarthy for Greg Jennings fumble, but if you are not uptight and view it more as comical, there's no problem.

I really don't understand how anyone can NOT want to be in the chat during the Packers game. If someone bothers you, /ignore. It's not like you need to read every single persons comment. Focus on the game, if you have something to say, say it. If you don't, so be it. There's commercials in the game, half time and challenge reviews.

The excuses for leaving or not being in the chat are sickening to me and it hurts my feelings and I don't think I'm going to sleep tonight.

All kidding aside, there really is no reason to not join in the chat. You don't have to watch the game, you don't have to reply to every comment, you can ignore the fools (ahem, zombieslayer and MAINLY Nonstopdrivel) who VERY RUDELY side track the discussions into something sexual. Yes, that does bother me, but during the games, they are usually behaved.

Shawn, I know what you mean, but the pros outweigh the cons. I'm sure if you gave it a chance, with what I've laid out, you'd find it entertaining. And I know most fans in there would enjoy your company as you have a lot of good insight to bring to the table.

I'd like for you and Porky88 to be in there more often. I think you both have great observations and football knowledge.
