We were painfully discussing Harrell in chat today.

Signed a six-year, $14.507 million contract.
The deal contains $8.1 million guaranteed, including a $1 million first-year roster bonus and a $5.3 million option bonus in the
second year. 2009: $460,000 (+ $186,625 roster bonus),
2010: $550,000 (+ $408,375 roster bonus),
2011: $650,000 (+ $575,000 roster bonus),
2012: $1,536,750,
2013: Free Agent

I fear Justin Harrell might be back with that price tag and if he flounders in the off season/pre season, he'll be cut.

I personally doubt he will be able to break into the line up next year, even if he can stay healthy.

Jenkins, Raji, Jolly, Pickett, Neal and Green.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.

What will it take to get Jolly back? Does he have to be reinstated by the NFL? I wonder what kind of shape he is in.
BAD EMAIL because the address couldn ot be found, or is unable to receive mail.

With an indefinite suspension, it usually ends after the post season. I don't know if it will be a typical situation or not. It probably depends on how Jolly conducts himself.

I have not heard anything about how he is doing. If he has a brain, he will come into camp in the best shape of his life.

I wouldn't hold my breath.

Jenkins isn't a sure thing to be back next season, unfortunately. That would be an excellent rotation though and I don't see Harrell fitting in regardless of Jenkins status

Does anyone here know when the roster bonus is due?

With that price tag it seems certain he'll be given another offseason to at least compete for a job

he could be due 17 cents next year and it wouldn't matter...what it comes down to is a wasted spot on the 53 roster.

In the mid 90s, and now the Packers' cuts are REALLY good players and we can't afford to let another good body at FB, DL, or wherever it may be walk away to the Cards or Titans because we want to keep someone cheap who showed potential in 2002.

Hopefully he has the decency to land on IR before final cuts.

Maybe the new negotiations will bring about a larger roster, especially if those greedy owners get their 18 game season. As for Harrell, why are we talking about him. He couldn't beat out Wynn right now.

2 good points Dakota. I've heard they may boost the roster size to 60 (not sure about active roster size, though).

I was also going to comment on what you mentioned, would Harrell be better than Wynn, Neal, Jolly, Green, and on and on?
