I'd love to see Cullen in for this one, our 3 man rushes take on a whole different dimension when you throw in Cullen beside Raji and CM. Could get Vick moving without blitzing heavily.
I expect to see a QB spy most of the game too.

Erik Walden was spying Cutler last game. Not sure if it was the whole game, but he was a few plays for sure. His delayed blitz was a spy.

Yeah I think Erik Walden would be the best bet to be a spy for us.

I think they will have CW blitzing a lot from both sides, the spy will probably rotate around whoever is staying home on the opposite side. Walden would be a good one, don't like to waste CM3's rush skills and I don't know if Hawk is quick enough side to side to track him down.

Vick is so elusive that the "spy" approach probably would not be effective against him. I don't know if other teams have used it against him and whether it's worked for them. My guess would be no.

I think all of the pass rushers will have to be very disciplined. If only three are rushing, then a spy might be helpful, but it's probably best to rush four or more on every play and maintain gap discipline and contain the edges. It will be interesting to see if Woodson can do what Winfield did against Vick last week.

Getting back to Cullen Jenkins: He would be a huge help against Vick, obviously. I think he will play.

I'd like to know what the thinking is regarding Jenkins. If he isn't healed as well as they'd like, do they save him for he next game, or do they plan like there's no tomorrow and play him, consequences and setbacks be damned?

My hunch is that they lean toward the latter approach, and Jenkins probably feels the same way. It's the playoffs, after all.

McCarthy said he would be evaluated Wednesday morning and then they would see if they could practice at all. Same with the other 3 injured.
